IELTS Sensei (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website ieltssensei.uz — an AI-powered IELTS preparation platform built in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed — we never store plain-text passwords).
- Practice data: Essays you submit, speaking recordings, test answers, and band scores — so we can show your progress over time.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent — to improve the product.
- Payment data: Handled entirely by Payme/Click. We never store your card number or banking credentials.
- Cookies: Session cookies for authentication. No tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the IELTS practice service (scoring, feedback, progress tracking).
- To send you transactional emails (verification, password reset, score notifications).
- To improve AI feedback quality — your essays may be used anonymously to improve our models.
- We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest. We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. All connections use HTTPS/TLS.
5. Your Rights
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Export: Download your practice history and scores.

6. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Payme / Click — payment processing
- Google AI (Gemini) — AI scoring engine
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
Each provider has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
7. Children
IELTS Sensei is not intended for children under 13. If we become aware of data collected from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
